This book is prepared to guide Sleman HDSS data users in working with physical activity data collected using the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire version 2 (GPAQ v2) in the individual panel across Cycles 4, 6, and 9, and in understanding how the data are processed to align with WHO standards. It explains the structure of the GPAQ questions, the concept of MET-minutes per week, and the construction of the physical activity level variable (gv_phyact), which classifies respondents into high, moderate, and low categories. In addition, the book documents the data cleaning procedures, calculation logic, and classification rules in detail, enabling users to understand the underlying assumptions, trace processing decisions, and ensure that analyses remain transparent, reproducible, and comparable across studies and countries.
