Capítulo 4. El vehículo autónomo, conectado y compartido: una nueva configuración geográfica

Abstract

Bajo el enfoque de la cadena de valor global, este capítulo presenta un nuevo marco para definir el modelo geográfico centro-periferia en la industria del automóvil derivado de la irrupción de las tecnologías de la nueva movilidad. Basado en este modelo, a través de un conjunto de variables, se analizan las empresas domésticas de nueva movilidad y tradicionales para conocer la evolución del estatus de España dentro de la industria del automóvil. Los resultados indican que la presencia de empresas domésticas de la nueva movilidad supone un mayor valor añadido de las actividades e innovación tecnológica, y especialmente una mayor presencia internacional de empresas multinacionales españolas. Esto, confiere a España un mejor estatus en este nuevo modelo centro-periferia.
