Abstract

This dataset contains the Sudan Integrated Earthquake Catalog (SIEC) v1.0, a comprehensive compilation of historical and instrumental seismicity for Sudan and surrounding regions (5°N-24°N, 20°E-44.5°E) spanning 827 AD to 2023. KEY FEATURES------------- Temporal coverage: 827 AD – 2023 (1,196 years)- Total events: 5,778 (46 historical + 5,732 instrumental)- Magnitude range: Mw 2.88–7.2- Homogenized moment magnitude (Mw) scale- Three declustered versions for PSHA applications
