Abstract

El 8 de agosto de 1937, la majestuosa piragua Ana Cecilia zarpó hacia su destino en el Lago de Maracaibo, pero nunca llegó. En una noche de tormenta, más de cien vidas se perdieron y una mujer, Carmen Elena, fue injustamente señalada como la culpable de la tragedia, acusada de locura y temeridad. Ochenta años más tarde, el expediente parece cerrado, pero las heridas siguen abiertas. Paula Alcántara, psiquiatra y bisnieta de la acusada, une fuerzas con José Rafael Villanueva, un experto investigador forense, para desafiar la versión oficial. Lo que comienza como una búsqueda familiar se convierte en una carrera contra el olvido. Entre simulaciones hidrodinámicas y perfiles psicológicos, descubrirán que la Ana Cecilia no sucumbió al mal tiempo, sino a una oscura conspiración empresarial y a un sabotaje mecánico calculado. ¿Estás listo para descubrir qué pasó realmente esa noche? La verdad flota, aunque pasen décadas.
