Salinity-Induced Stratification Impacts Tides in Estuaries – Model Input Files

Abstract

This repository contains the model input files used in the study:Siemes, R.W.A., and Hulscher, S.J.M.H. "Salinity-Induced Stratification Impacts Tides in Estuaries"The files correspond to the simulations used to produce the results presented in the first submitted version of the manuscript. The repository provides the input configurations required to reproduce the model experiments described in the paper. Simulation folders follow the naming convention:Mr[EstuarineGeometry]_[Case]_[StratificationRegime]where the stratification regime abbreviations are:- SW = Salt wedge- PM = Partially mixed- WM = Well mixedModel output files are not included.

Keywords

Tidal dynamics, Salt dynamics, numerical modelling, Estuaries, estuarine hydrodynamics
