श्रीमद्वाल्मीकीयरामायणे न्यायवैशेषिकविमर्शः (Śrīmadvālmīkīyaramāyaṇe nyāyavaiśeṣikavimarśaḥ)

Abstract

English: This research paper provides an analytical study of the elements of Nyaya and Vaisheshika philosophy embedded in the Valmiki Ramayana. The author demonstrates, primarily through the character of Hanuman, that the figures in the Ramayana were profound scholars of logic (Anvikshiki). The paper illustrates how Hanuman effectively employed Anumana Pramana (Inference) and the five-membered syllogism (Panchavayava) during his search for Sita in Lanka. The research establishes the Ramayana not just as an epic poem, but as a significant repository of philosophical principles and logical methodology.
