The Universal Formula for Civilization Stability: Analysis of Social Systems and Predictive Insights

Abstract

Abstract This paper presents a comprehensive framework for analyzing the stability of civilizations using a universal formula consisting of four fundamental laws: (1) the Law of Karma or system integrity, (2) the Universal Law of Balance in Nature, (3) the Universal Feedback Loop Mechanism, and (4) Universal Interconnected Nodes. By quantifying each law on a 0–100 scale, the Civilization Stability Index (CSI) is introduced as a predictive tool for assessing societal stability. Historical and modern social systems—including the Indian caste system, European feudalism, apartheid in South Africa, Jim Crow laws in the United States, and modern social democracies—are evaluated. Additional analyses include global CSI comparisons and historical timeline trends. Results indicate a critical CSI threshold (~40%), below which societies are prone to collapse or major instability.
