Compound disturbance trends code

Abstract

Code to conduct analyses and produce visualizations in the manuscript "Compound disturbances are a rising threat to U.S. forests" (R Markdown file). Code is formatted to download and analyze the most recently available Nationwide Forest Inventory data. We also provide the specific data used to generate all results in our manuscript (for v1, these data were downloaded and analyzed on 1/30/2026), which can be re-run by loading the RData files included in this repository.
