This work presents PhantomRoot, a structural isolation approach that neutralizes privilege escalation attacks by redirecting attacker writes to a volatile shadow layer using OverlayFS. Experimental results demonstrate 100% integrity preservation (0.0% change rate) and a mean isolation trigger latency (ITL) of 10.1 ms.
