A public reference dataset of Ukrainian administrative-territorial classification codes: KOATUU (legacy, essential for historical data) and KATOTTG (current, effective since 2020). Contains both active and inactive (cancelled/renamed) codes — critical for working with historical records. Includes ~48,700 KOATUU records and ~31,993 KATOTTG records with hierarchical structure (oblast → raion → hromada → settlement) and settlement categories. Compiled from public sources (data.gov.ua and other official publications) and manually enriched. This is NOT an official government registry.
Source classifications: KOATUU (ДК 014-97) and KATOTTG. Data compiled from data.gov.ua and other public sources. See docs/METHODOLOGY.md for details. This dataset is NOT an official government registry.
