Texnik ta’lim jarayonida xorijiy tilni o‘rgatish umumiy kommunikativ kompetensiyani shakllantirish bilan bir qatorda, kasbiy yo‘naltirilgan bilim va ko‘nikmalarni rivojlantirishni ham nazarda tutadi. Maqolada texnik terminologiyani o‘zlashtirish, ilmiy-texnik matnlar bilan ishlash, autentik materiallardan foydalanish hamda ESP (English for Specific Purposes) yondashuvining ahamiyati yoritiladi. Shuningdek, texnika yo‘nalishidagi talabalarning analitik fikrlash xususiyatlari, amaliy mashg‘ulotlarga moyilligi va kasbiy motivatsiyasi xorijiy til o‘qitish metodikasini tanlashda muhim omil ekani asoslab beriladi.
