Synergy of health insurance and the development of intellectual capital in Ukraine's recovery

Abstract

Relevance of the research topic. An effective health care system plays a decisive role in ensuring the population's access to quality medical services, preserving health and increasing labor productivity. For Ukraine, the implementation of a comprehensive health insurance model creates conditions for combining health care with the development of intellectual potential, which creates a synergistic effect and contributes to economic recovery, increasing the country's competitiveness and forming an innovative development model in the post–war period.The purpose of the study is to substantiate the feasibility of the interaction of mandatory and voluntary health insurance for the formation and development of intellectual capital in the process of rebuilding Ukraine.Research methods. In the research process, a complex of interrelated general scientific and special methods was used: the method of scientific knowledge, analysis, synthesis, comparative method, data generalization method.Research results. The paper examines the role and significance of the healthcare system for the restoration of Ukraine as a key factor in the development of the country's intellectual capital, analyzes the financing of medical services included in the state budget of Ukraine over the past decade, and the rates of change in GDP per capita. The existing models of medical insurance that have been formed and are effectively used in developed countries are considered. The feasibility of implementing a comprehensive model of medical insurance for the population of Ukraine is proven, which will promote a synergistic effect from the interaction of all participants and will contribute to the development of the country's innovative capital.Conclusions. The existing models of medical insurance of developed countries and the possibility of their implementation in Ukraine in the process of reconstruction are studied, taking into account the existing challenges, the characteristics of the domestic healthcare system and the impact of the war on these processes.
