DISTRIBUTION: Algeria, Cameroon, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Kenya, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Réunion, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. Also reported from Australia, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sri Lanka and Thailand. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Hillwood Farm, Ikelenge, in Northwestern Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include Amaryllis belladonna L., Boophone disticha Herb., Crinum sp., Crytanthus breviflorus, Gladiolus dalenii Van Geel, Eucharis moorei (Baker) Meerow, Albuca virens (Lindl.)
