Abstract

This dataset contains raw hydrographic (CTD) and velocity (Lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler, LADCP) data collected during RV Polarstern cruises PS117 (January 2019) and PS129 (April 2022) in the Weddell Sea. The data were acquired along the SR04 repeat hydrographic section. CTD measurements were obtained using a Sea-Bird SBE911plus system. LADCP measurements were acquired using a dual-head lowered ADCP configuration. The files are provided in their original raw format as obtained after standard onboard processing and quality control procedures. These data support the analyses presented in: Pereira Vázquez et al., Structure and Dynamics of the Antarctic Slope and Weddell Fronts along the SR04 WOCE Section (2007–2022), submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans.
