Abstract

Dataset Description: This dataset provides global monthly dust emission threshold velocity (ut) at 1°×1° resolution, developed through multi-source data integration including ground observations, satellite retrievals, and reanalysis products. Contents: Contains complete source code for dataset generation (genut.zip) iDust-ut dataset derived from multi-source observations and reanalysis (ut.zip) Model-adaptive ut dataset for iDust, CAMS, ERA5, and MERRA-2 with 10-meter wind speed bias compensation(ut.zip) Key Features: iDust-ut validated against field observations (R=0.93, RMSE=0.8 m/s) Model-adaptive ut for improved dust forecasting Ready-to-use NetCDF4 format with CF-compliant metadata
