
The GEO.INFORMED project (a collaboration between KU Leuven, Digitaal Vlaanderen, INBO, and VITO) aimed to bridge the gap between academic innovations in Deep Learning and the practical needs of Flemish policy-makers. By utilizing Sentinel-2 satellite data, various methodologies were developed for large-scale environmental monitoring. This poster provides an overview of the methodology, technical results, and the developed web applications (prototypes) for the Water Detection use case.
