Photomicrographs of samples collected in the field. All thin sections are 30 microns thick. Images are 3.55mm in width, and c.2.36mm in height. Slides were then etched and stained - pink for carbonates and blue for porosity. The microscope used is an Olympus BH-2 with a Sony Alpha 7S camera attached. The photo-eyepiece was at 2.5x zoom, the stage was at 4x zoom, and all images were captured in plane polarised light.
