Code for TCPC Model Generation (2D) in GMSH and Conversion to STEP

Abstract

This repository provides Python-based tools for the parametric generation and processing of 2D Total Cavopulmonary Connection (TCPC) geometries (offset connection type). The script allows for automated mesh generation in GMSH with user-defined anatomical parameters (diameters of SVC and IVC, distance of caval offset). Workflow: Define anatomical parameters in tcpc_geometry_generator.py. Open the generated .geo files in GMSH to inspect or modify the mesh. Execute tcpc_export.py to convert the final geometries into .STEP files for further simulation or CAD work. These scripts were developed by the author with the assistance of DeepSeek-V3.2 for code structure and logic refinement. All geometric outputs and conversion logic have been manually verified for research accuracy.
