
Abstract Grand Unified Theories promised to complete the Standard Model. Unify the strong, weak, and electromagnetic forces into a single elegant structure, predict proton decay as the smoking gun, and solve the mystery of matter's dominance over antimatter in one move. The physics community built two generations of detectors to find that decaying proton. They are still looking. The GR-Razor does not wait indefinitely for a prediction to come true. The same instrument that dismantled ΛCDM, put Bostrom's simulation argument on trial, exposed the string landscape's thermodynamic detachment, and showed SUSY's hierarchy problem to be entropy bookkeeping that never closes is turned here on GUTs. Eight adversarial tests. No credit for a prediction that keeps retreating to higher energies every time a detector rules it out. The results follow the pattern. Five outright fails. One partial survival. One clean pass. The proton decay problem is shown here to be exactly what fifty years of null results suggest: a framework that identified the right destination and drew the wrong map to get there. Cosmological Pangaea does not need proton decay. It does not need a unification scale that no planned experiment can reach. It solves the matter-antimatter asymmetry problem geometrically (Pillar 16) without invoking baryon-number violation at inaccessible energies. It derives the three-generation structure of matter from first principles without a GUT gauge group. GUTs identified the right destination and drew the wrong map to get there. The map required a proton to decay. After fifty years and two generations of detectors, none has. The destination remains.
