Serveis bibliotecaris inclusius per a la joventut LGBTIQ+

Abstract

Serveis bibliotecaris inclusius per a la joventut LGBTIQ+ és un recurs educatiu obert (OER) desenvolupat en el marc del projecte europeu GEDIS – Gender Diversity in Information Science: Challenges in Higher Education. El material analitza el paper de les biblioteques com a espais d’acompanyament, suport i inclusió per a la joventut LGBTIQ+, especialment en els processos de cerca d’informació i construcció identitària. El recurs presenta, de manera sintètica i visual, els principals reptes vinculats a la fiabilitat de la informació i a la percepció de la biblioteca com a espai segur. Alhora, ofereix orientacions pràctiques per al desenvolupament de serveis bibliotecaris inclusius, com ara l’adquisició de materials específics, la senyalització i organització temàtica de col·leccions i la implementació de programes educatius i de suport. El contingut es fonamenta en literatura acadèmica recent sobre comportament informacional i processos de “sortir de l’armari”, així com en el marc de drets humans defensat per la IFLA. Adreçat a personal bibliotecari, professorat i estudiantat de l’àmbit de la Informació i la Documentació, aquest recurs contribueix a la incorporació de la perspectiva de gènere i diversitat en els serveis bibliotecaris i en l’educació superior.
