This dataset contains stratigraphic, geophysical, and kinematic parameters used to constrain the evolution of Plio–Pleistocene fault systems. It includes (1) stratigraphic ages and associated uncertainties based on published chronostratigraphic frameworks, (2) interval velocity models applied to the main stratigraphic units, (3) calculated fault slip and slip rates derived from restored cross-sections with related uncertainties, and (4) parameters of statistically fitted slip-rate curves with goodness-of-fit metrics and time-derivative estimates. The dataset supports quantitative reconstruction of fault activity and temporal variations in slip rates through integrated stratigraphic constraints and velocity modeling. This dataset supports the manuscript: De Matteo A. , F. Maesano, D. Barrera, R. Basili, S. Seno, M. Livani, D. Scrocca, Vanja Kastelic and G. Toscani, Probabilistic assessment of variable slip rates of offshore buried thrusts in the Central Adriatic Sea (Italy) since the Pliocene time, Under review in Tectonics.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
