Coastal Flood Hazard Dataset – Extreme Water Levels and Sea Level Rise Projections for İzmir Province - CRIZ-ERS

Abstract

This dataset contains the coastal flood hazard assessment for İzmir Province, Türkiye, developed within the CLIMAAX Coastal Flooding workflow framework. The hazard assessment quantifies extreme coastal water levels based on global reanalysis and statistical datasets from the Copernicus Climate Data Store (CDS), combined with sea level rise projections from IPCC AR6. The assessment is based on: Extreme water levels (5-, 10-, 50-, 100-year return periods) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Static inundation modelling File Contents : Hazard_assessment_FLOOD_COASTAL.ipynb Jupyter notebook implementing the coastal flood hazard workflow.
