This document is Deliverable D1.1 and presents key lessons learned from other NBS and NEB projects and research that form the theoretical and evidence-based foundation for the Horizon Europe project INNATURE: Enhancing Biodiversity and Social Inclusion by Transforming Europe’s Living Environments. The INNATURE project aims to re-imagine and accelerate new living futures and ‘next practices’ across Europe by co-creating five diverse Nature Based Solutions (NBS) demonstration cases across Europe (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Romania, UK) that are inclusive (co-created together), beautiful and sustainable, the three key pillars of the New European Bauhaus (NEB).
