
This article highlights the theoretical and practical foundations of teaching students the design requirements and specific characteristics involved in the process of clothing design. It analyzes the aesthetic, ergonomic, hygienic, functional, and economic aspects of clothing design. The study also examines methods for developing students’ creative thinking, artistic taste, and skills in creating designs that correspond to modern fashion trends. The article has methodological significance for general secondary schools, vocational institutions, and higher education establishments.
