
This paper presents a hypothesis-driven exploratory report on the potential role of low-dose AHCC supplementation combined with nutritional support in cases of persistent herpes simplex virus (HSV) and human papillomavirus (HPV) infections. Persistent viral infections are characterised by immune evasion, chronic inflammatory tone, and variable clinical expression influenced by host immune competence, oxidative stress, and environmental factors. The report examines observational patterns suggesting that targeted immune-supportive interventions, including AHCC and nutritional modulation, may contribute to improved host resilience rather than direct viral eradication. The objective of this work is not to claim causation but to propose a conceptual framework for broader investigation into adjunctive, low-risk supportive strategies in chronic viral persistence. The paper is positioned as an independent research hypothesis intended to stimulate discussion, further study, and interdisciplinary exploration within immunology, nutritional science, and integrative health research.
