The Biodiversity Genomics Europe (BGE) Project aimed to accelerate the use of genomic science to enhance understanding of biodiversity, monitor biodiversity change, and guide interventions to address its decline. As part of the BGE project, case studies were developed through Work Package 11 (WP11) activities. In Task 11.3 of WP11, the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics supported twenty ongoing studies through a subcontracting scheme designed to broaden the taxonomic and geographic coverage of WP11 applications. These projects, listed in this dataset, were funded to initiate or accelerate application-oriented genomics work (ongoing projects), typically by generating reference genomes and targeted population datasets and by establishing analysis plans and stakeholder pathways.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
