Head punctate; punctures on frons larger than those on clypeus; clypeus emarginate; frontoclypeal suture faint, present as a fine, glabrous and glossy angulate line. Pronotum everywhere coarsely, densely punctate, punctures closer and coarser laterally; posterior margin with marginal line; margin evidenced by a row of coarse punctures; posterior angles serrate.
