Mazkur maqolada media diskursning lingvopragmatik tabiati, uning tipologik mezonlari va zamonaviy ommaviy kommunikatsiya makonidagi o‘rni tahlil qilinadi. Media nutqining funksiyasi, kanali, formati, auditoriyasi, uslubi hamda mafkuraviy pozitsiyasi asosida shakllanuvchi ko‘p qatlamli tuzilmasi ilmiy jihatdan asoslanadi. Diskurs tahlilining fanlararo xususiyati, jumladan, tilshunoslik, sotsiologiya, psixologiya va madaniyatshunoslik bilan uzviy aloqasi yoritiladi. Shuningdek, kino va seriallar diskursining lingvistik va pragmatik imkoniyatlari, annotatsiya semantikasi hamda stilistik vositalar tahlili muhim yo‘nalish sifatida ko‘rib chiqiladi. Media nutqining kognitiv, polemik va ta’limiy janrlari, janr diffuziyasi va stilistik mimikriya hodisalari izohlanadi. Tadqiqot natijalari media diskursni kompleks o‘rganish zaruratini asoslaydi hamda film tarjimasi, dublyaj va elektron lingvistik bazalar yaratishda lingvopragmatik tahlilning ahamiyatini ko‘rsatadi.
