Conceptual Analysis: Scenario of Indian Economy After Few Years Due to Digitization

Abstract

The paper examines the role of digitization in boosting the Indian economy, particularly in generating employment opportunities for the young generation. It discusses how digitalization will improve cost savings, output optimization, job creation, efficiency, and literacy, and argues that the global world will benefit from digital payments. The paper explores how digitization can combat money concealment, terrorism financing, and money laundering by reducing cash transactions, and highlights how high-speed internet access is the vital backbone of digital infrastructure. It also covers the impact of digital applications on agriculture, industry, and the broader Indian economy, and discusses how India's goal of achieving a $1 trillion digital economy by 2025 depends on widespread digital adoption.
