Role of Personality Trait as Sober and Happy-go-Lucky in Isolation of Students in Classroom

Abstract

The study explores the personality trait of Sober vs. Happy-go-Lucky among isolated students in the classroom. A sample of 50 isolates was identified using sociometric technique from senior secondary schools in Kanpur city. Cattell's 16 P.F. Questionnaire (Hindi Version) by S.D. Kapoor was used to measure Dimension F (Sober vs. Happy-go-Lucky). Using a Descriptive Survey Research method, the researcher calculated the mean Sten (Standard Ten) values for the dimension. Results showed that isolates were found to be sometimes sober and sometimes happy-go-lucky in their behavior and lives.
