Onomastikon biblijskih imena. Tom I: Starozavetna imena (Preview edition)

Abstract

ABSTRACT This volume presents a systematic onomastic lexicon of 3000 biblical names found in the Old Testament corpus. Each entry includes the original Hebrew form, transliteration, morphological structure, etymological analysis, semantic interpretation, and relevant biblical references. The work is based on philological methodology, comparative Semitic linguistics, and historical-linguistic analysis, integrating data from Biblical Hebrew, Northwest Semitic languages, and relevant ancient Near Eastern sources. The aim of this lexicon is to provide a comprehensive scholarly resource for theologians, biblical scholars, linguists, historians of religion, and researchers in the field of Semitic studies. The volume also addresses issues of name formation patterns, theophoric elements, anthroponymic structures, and diachronic linguistic development within the Hebrew biblical tradition. This work represents the first volume (Old Testament names) of a broader onomastic project dedicated to biblical anthroponymy and linguistic history. This is a preview edition of the full monograph. The complete 535-page edition is commercially available at:https://www.hebrejski.com APSTRAKT Ovaj tom predstavlja sistematski onomastički leksikon 3000 biblijskih imena zabeleženih u starozavetnom korpusu. Svaka odrednica sadrži izvorni hebrejski oblik imena, transliteraciju, morfološku strukturu, etimološku analizu, semantičko tumačenje i relevantne biblijske reference. Rad je zasnovan na filološkoj metodologiji, uporednoj semitskoj lingvistici i istorijsko-lingvističkoj analizi, uz integraciju podataka iz biblijskog hebrejskog jezika, severozapadnosemitskih jezika i drugih relevantnih izvora starog Bliskog istoka. Cilj ovog leksikona jeste da pruži sveobuhvatan naučni resurs za teologe, bibliste, lingviste, istoričare religije i istraživače iz oblasti semitskih studija. Posebna pažnja posvećena je obrascima građenja imena, teoforičkim elementima, strukturi antroponima i dijahronijskom razvoju jezika u okviru hebrejske biblijske tradicije. Ovaj tom predstavlja prvi deo šireg onomastičkog projekta posvećenog biblijskoj antroponimiji i lingvističkoj istoriji. Ključne reči: biblijska onomastika, hebrejska lična imena, semitska lingvistika, biblijski hebrejski, etimologija, starozavetna imena, istorijska lingvistika, hebrejska leksikografija.
