Abstract

Este artículo recopila contenidos producidos en YouTube para atacar el proceso electoral en las elecciones de 2022 e investiga cómo reaccionaron los usuarios ante estos videos que fomentaban la desconfianza en el proceso electoral brasileño. Los videos se seleccionaron en función de los contenidos de desinformación electoral identificados por el Sistema de Alertas de Desinformación Electoral del Tribunal Superior Electoral. Se aplicó un análisis de contenido para interpretar las reacciones de los usuarios de la plataforma digital en relación con los videos que promovían debates sobre la integridad del sistema electoral. El estudio destaca que la desinformación fue empleada como estrategia de campaña electoral por actores de extrema derecha para atacar el sistema electoral y las instituciones democráticas, y reflexiona sobre posibles estrategias de inoculación de la desinformación electoral.

Este artigomapeia conteúdos produzidos no YouTube para atacar o processo eleitoral nas eleições de 2022 e investiga como os usuários reagiram a esses vídeos que incentivaram a desconfiança no processo eleitoral brasileiro. Os vídeos foram selecionados com base nos conteúdos de desinformação eleitoral identificadospelo Sistema de Alertas de Desinformação Eleitoral do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral.A análise de conteúdo foi aplicada para interpretar as reações dos usuários na plataforma digital em relação aos vídeos que promoviam debates sobre a integridade do sistema eleitoral.O estudo destaca que a desinformação foi empregada como uma estratégia de campanha eleitoral por atores da extrema direita para atacar o sistema eleitoral e as instituições democráticas e reflete sobre possíveis estratégias de inoculação da desinformação eleitoral. 

This article maps content produced on YouTube to attack the electoral process in the 2022 elections and investigates how users reacted to these videos that encouraged mistrust in the Brazilian electoral process. The videos were selected based on electoral disinformation content identified by the Electoral Disinformation Alert System of the Superior Electoral Court. Content analysis was applied to interpret user reactions on the digital platform to videos that promoted debates about the integrity of the electoral system. The study highlights that disinformation was used as an electoral campaign strategy by far-right actors to attack the electoral system and democratic institutions and reflects on possible strategies for inoculating electoral disinformation.
