Abstract

Genus Vincetoxicum Wolf is a genus of perennial herbs distributed in the Old World. According to the last floristic works, there are only three species of the genus Vincetoxicum that occur in the Kharkiv Region. However, some other representatives are known from adjacent territories. During field surveys, we found two new autochthonous species to the flora of the Kharkiv Region (V. flavum Ostapko and V. ucrainicum Ostapko). Each newly revealed species was found in two localities, which are the only confirmed in the region. Due to their rarity, we propose to include these species to the new edition of the list of protectedplants in the Kharkiv Region.
