Problems related to conditional clauses in the translation process arise due to grammatical and semantic differences between language systems. Particularly in translation between Arabic and Uzbek, the formal expression of the condition–result relationship does not always fully correspond to its semantic interpretation. Therefore, the issue of translating conditional clauses should be considered not only as a problem of grammatical equivalence but also as one of semantic and pragmatic adequacy [Nida, 1964].
