Corythalia tropica (Mello-Leitão, 1939) Selon Glavis Bernard Edwards cette mention fait en fait référence à Corythalia fulgipedia Crane, 1948. Corythalia tropica est donc à supprimer de la liste des Salticidae de Guyane. À l’époque du travail de Vedel et al. (2013) Corythalia fulgipedia avait été mise en synonymie, à tort, avec Corythalia tropica. L’espèce a été restaurée par Bayer et al. (2020).
