We collected the top 300 YouTube videos returned for the query “therian” using YouTube’s web search results ordered by popularity (view-count sort parameter). For each video, we extracted upload date/time and view counts using yt_dlp, computed video ages in days relative to the UTC collection time, and summarized the distribution of ages. Among videos with known upload times (n=297), 150 (50.5%) were published within the prior 30 days.
