
Abstract The commercial banking industry is undergoing profound transformation, driven by digitization, intensifying competition, evolving customer expectations, and stricter regulatory demands. In particular, banks serving small and medium-sized businesses face mounting pressure to innovate in response to rapid technological advances and the rise of new financial entrants. To remain competitive, many are rethinking their growth strategies, modernizing their technology infrastructure, and adopting more connected, customer-centric business models (KPMG International Ltd, n.d.). Within this evolving landscape, this case analysis evaluates the strategic positioning of Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc. (TCBI), examining how the organization can adapt, compete, and generate sustainable value in the future. The following techniques are employed in this analysis: PLEST, Porter Five Forces, Competitor Analysis, VIRO, Value Chain, Functional Analysis. SWOT is employed to integrate these techniques into one comprehensive study.
