ILUMINAÇÃO CÊNICA

Abstract

The booklet Stage Lighting: Cut, Paste and Create with Colors and Light, developed within the Arte na Velocidade da Luz project, presents the technical foundations of light and color applied to the performing arts. It addresses pigment and light color systems, subtractive and additive synthesis, and introduces basic stage lighting equipment. Combining theory and hands-on activities, such as creating stained-glass effects, gobos, and shadow theatre, the material supports technical-pedagogical initiation in stage lighting for educational contexts. The original booklet was written and published in Portuguese.
