Abstract

Este documento apresenta os resultados do seminário virtual realizado em 17 de outubro de 2025, como parte do projeto de pesquisa aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CAAE: 84961124.5.0000.0121) coordenado pela professora Dra. Michele de Sá Dechoum (Laboratório de Ecologia de Invasões Biológicas, Manejo e Conservação da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina), com a participação das pesquisadoras Rosely Alvim Sanches e Silvia de Melo Futada. O objetivo geral é identificar os desafios e estratégias de manejo de espécies exóticas invasoras (EEI) adotados por povos e comunidades tradicionais (PCT) em seus territórios, com a participação de seus representantes e de especialistas que atuam junto aos PCTs. Este documento é fruto das contribuições dos participantes no seminário que foram convidados e aceitaram em participar, mediante consentimento livre e esclarecido, conforme determina a Resolução no 466, de 12 de dezembro de 2012 (que aprova as diretrizes e normas regulamentadoras de pesquisas envolvendo seres humanos) e suas complementares. Essas contribuições trazem informações sobre os conhecimentos locais e possibilidades de manejo relacionados às EEI em territórios de povos e comunidades tradicionais (PCT).
