Abstract

Este artigo discute os impactos da inteligência artificial (IA) no trabalho docente, destacando as tensões entre a mediação humana e a automação dos processos pedagógicos. Por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica narrativa, são analisados os desafios, dilemas e possibilidades que emergem na prática educacional contemporânea diante da incorporação de novas tecnologias digitais. Observa-se que a IA oferece recursos importantes para personalização do ensino, otimização de tarefas burocráticas e ampliação de metodologias inovadoras, mas também suscitam preocupações relacionadas a dilemas éticos, riscos de precarização do trabalho e à possibilidade de reduzir o professor a mero executor de sistemas automatizados. Argumenta-se que a mediação humana permanece insubstituível, especialmente no que diz respeito à formação crítica, ética e cidadã dos estudantes. Conclui-se que a docência em tempos de inteligência artificial deve articular inovação tecnológica e humanização do ensino, preservando o papel central do professor na construção do conhecimento e na formação integral dos sujeitos.
