UNIVERSAL DESIGN METHOD IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Abstract

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an inclusive educational framework that promotes flexible teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners. Grounded in principles of multiple means of representation, engagement, and expression, UDL shifts the focus from remediating students to designing accessible learning environments. This approach removes barriers, supports participation, and enhances academic and social outcomes. Despite implementation challenges, sustained professional development and institutional support ensure effective integration in inclusive classrooms.
