What are the experiences, views and perceptions of patients, carers and clinicians of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs)? A scoping review

Abstract

Briefing paper detailing the methods and findings from the scoping review addressing the question; What is the quantity, nature and key characteristics of primary evidence which explores the experiences, views and perceptions of patients, carers and clinicians regarding the use of GLP-1 RAs for any indication? This review was funded by the NIHR Evidence Synthesis Programme (grant number: NIHR153420). The views expressed are those of the author(s) and not necessarily those of the NIHR, the Department of Health and Social Care, or the UK Health Security Agency. Several authors were supported by NIHR Applied Research Collaboration South West Peninsula (PenARC). Prof G.J. Melendez-Torres is an NIHR Senior Investigator.
