D6.3 AI-PRISM Assessment of system performance

Abstract

This deliverable reports the final assessment of the AI-PRISM solutions deployed in the five industrial use cases, namely:Use case 1 - Furniture manufacturing (Andreu World), Use case 2 - Reduction of environmental pollution from semiconductor production (VIGO), Use case 3 - Brewery/food industry transformation towards Industry 5.0 (Athenian Brewery), Use case 4 - Adaptable and collaborative workstation for hood assembly and quality inspection (SIL), and Use case 5 - Generic demonstrator for AI-based natural, multi-modal human-robot collaboration (KEBA). It documents the validation methodology, the execution of the validation test campaign, as well as the results obtained at system and KPI level. Building on the demonstrator setup and commissioning activities reported in D6.1, the present document evaluates to what extent the deployed solutions achieve the human-centred and economic objectives defined in WP1 and WP5. The analysis combines structured component-level tests, pilot-scale demonstrations under real operating conditions, and human-factors evaluations based on standardised questionnaires and physiological measurements. Special emphasis is placed on social and ergonomic impacts, such as reduction of physical discomfort, perceived workload, and technology acceptance, as well as on economic indicators including cycle time, productivity, and cost efficiency. The deliverable concludes with lessons learnt and recommendations for future exploitation and scaling of the validated solutions.
