ProleTRact: TandemTwister visualization tool

Abstract

This is the source code for ProleTRact v1.1.0, the companion visualization tool for TandemTwister, used in the preprint: "TandemTwister: Scalable genotyping and advanced visualization of tandem repeats" by Al Raei LW, Ghareghani M, Moeinzadeh H, Vingron M, available on bioRxiv at https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.64898/2026.01.28.702315v2 ProleTRact is an interactive tool for visualizing tandem repeats from VCF files generated by TandemTwister. It allows users to explore motifs, compare alleles, and interpret complex genomic variation. For the latest code, please visit the GitHub repository: https://github.com/Lionward/ProleTRact.
