This poster presents the establishment of the Centre of Preclinical Toxicology and Biochemistry (PreToxBi@) at the Mario Negri Institute to address the growing need for standardized and reproducible nanomedicine safety assessment. As nanoformulations increasingly enhance drug delivery and therapeutic efficacy, concerns regarding their safety and long-term biological effects remain insufficiently addressed. The Centre integrates toxicological and biochemical expertise to evaluate nanomaterial interactions at the molecular level, identify adverse effects, and investigate mechanisms underlying toxicity and chronic disease development. By shifting from risk perception to quantitative measurement, PreToxBi@ aims to provide a structured, translational platform supporting safer development of nanodrugs.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
