Abstract

Eğitim süreçleri, öğrencilerin motivasyonlarını artırmak ve öğrenme etkinliğini yükseltmek amacıyla sürekli bir dönüşüm içerisindedir. Ancak, geleneksel öğretim yöntemleri, dijital çağda büyüyen öğrenciler için zaman zaman yetersiz kalmaktadır (Deci & Ryan, 1985). Bu durum, öğrencilerin derse katılım oranlarının düşmesine ve akademik performanslarının olumsuz etkilenmesine neden olmaktadır. Eğitimde oyunlaştırma, öğrenmeyi daha ilgi çekici ve etkili hale getirme potansiyeline sahip yenilikçi bir yaklaşım olarak dikkat çekmektedir (Deterding ve b., 2011.
