Abstract

L'aspect du sujet abordé dans cette étude. Cette étude a évalué les pratiques réelles d'analgésie post-opératoire chez l'enfant dans un hôpital universitaire ivoirien, en mesurant à la fois les protocoles utilisés, l'intensité douloureuse rapportée et la satisfaction des familles. Ce que cette étude apporte de nouveau. Elle révèle que 96 % des enfants reçoivent une analgésie prophylactique en fin d'intervention, et que 70 % bénéficient d'une analgésie multimodale associant paracétamol, tramadol et AINS. En salle de réveil, 63 % des patients ont une douleur faible, un résultat encourageant. Cependant, l'évaluation systématique par échelle validée n'est réalisée que dans 69 % des cas, et l'adéquation de l'échelle à l'âge n'est pas précisée.
