
Deliverable, D1.3, titled "Eco-design and design for recyclability guidelines" encompasses the activities carried out in Task 1.4 – “Ecodesign guidelines”, led by LOMARTOV; and Task 1.5 – “SSB design for recyclability”, led by ACCUREC. The core objective of this work is to proactively integrate sustainability considerations into the early design stages of novel SSB chemistries and components, ensuring that development is aligned with and anticipates the evolving European regulatory framework, including the landmark EU Battery Regulation (EU 2023/1542), the Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) (EU 2024/1781), and the EU Critical Raw Materials (CRM) Act (EU 2024/1252).
