Application of problem-based learning as a pedagogical approach in higher education in Latvia

Abstract

 An evaluation of the current practice of problem-based learning application in higher education in Latvia will be carried out, identifying the manifestations of problem-based learning in the study process from the perspective of both the academic staff and students, as well as the impact of problem-based learning on students' transversal competencies will be evaluated. As a result of the research, a scientifically grounded methodological material will be developed for academic staff for the practical application of problem-based learning in the study process.
