Gateway Domain-Centric Routing: A Vendor-Agnostic Metadata-Driven Architecture for Enterprise API Governance - Version 4.0 DEPRECATED VERSION

Abstract

Gateway Domain-Centric Routing (GDCR) - Version 4.0 ⚠️ DEPRECATED VERSION Author: Ricardo Luz Holanda VianaDOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18582492Figshare: 10.6084/m9.figshare.31331683License: CC BY 4.0Date: February 12, 2026 ⚠️ DEPRECATION NOTICE This version (4.0 - JavaScript v15.1) is DEPRECATED. Please use the latest version available at the links below. Validation Environment & Methodology Disclaimer: This version was validated exclusively in SAP BTP Sandbox and Vendors Trial environments What was GDCR v4.0? A vendor-agnostic architecture that routes API traffic by business domain (Sales, Finance, Logistics) instead of creating separate proxies for each backend system. Key improvements (now obsolete): Binary search O(log n) for 20× faster lookups Zero-allocation string operations Case-insensitive routing Gateway latency: 15–26ms (40% faster than v14.2) Validation results (SAP BTP sandbox): 33,000+ API calls tested 90% reduction in API proxies (41→4) 90% reduction in integration packages (39→4) 69% reduction in technical users (39→12) 95% faster deployments (273 min→14.5 min) Resources 📧 Contact: rhviana@gmail.comLinkedIn: ricardo-viana-br1984Medium: @rhvianaGitHub: github.com/rhviana/gdcp - 27/02 up tp 01/03 Related articles: Medium - GDCR Architecture Citation (historical reference only) APA:Viana, R.
